  Fried Chicken Nasi Lemak

  “It’s a good nasi lemak. The rice has the fragrance of coconut, the sambal is savoury and has a bit of a kick to it but not as sweet and spicy as I’d prefer. The fried anchovies, peanuts, egg and cucumber are all there which is good. The chicken is deep fried and conveniently cut up and the batter is crispy. However, there isn’t any rempah - the deep fried crispy bits of aromatic spices and herbs.”
