Crab and Pork Xlb
“This dish is so yummy with the crab and pork dumplings. The texture of the dumpling skin is amazing. And each dumpling is filled with soup inside, and the pork is very fresh along with the crab meat, although the crab meat is quite delicate, therefore you cannot really taste it. It’s a really enjoyable dish, and it’s hard to find a good xiao long bao in Sydney. Very enjoyable.”
Sweet Tofu Pudding
“The tofu pudding was soft and smooth. I hope the sugar was mixed with the ginger syrup but it was just plain sugar syrup. It was still enjoyable.”
Steamed Vegetable Dumplings
“The vegetarian steamed dumplings were huge. The skin was perfect but the flavour was lacking. I took some home as we had so much but when I steamed them they were actually quite nice on their own. They weren’t as tasty as the other meat dumplings so I suggest you try these first before anything meat-based.”
Black Truffle and Pork Xlb
“The pork truffle xiao long bao was absolutely delicious. The skin and pastry were incredibly thin and filled with a rich soup. It was so delicate and the pork was incredibly fresh. I’d love some julienne ginger to accompany it with some vinegar but they don’t offer any ginger. The skin was exceptionally thin and delicious.”
Sliced Beef Vermicelli Soup
“The sliced beef noodle soup was pretty good, and the soup was tasty— herbal-like! The sliced beef was cooked for a very long time— soft and tender. Glass noodles were used for the noodles, which makes it quite special.”
